Arriving Early
Arriving early is an easy way you can help yourself at work. By getting to the office 15 minutes early you can set yourself up for the day. Mentally prepare yourself for what you want to get done so you’re ready for action. What’s more you’re helping eliminate stress that comes with rushing to get to work in time.

Don’t be afraid to ask colleagues for help. Most of the time people are happy to help and most will see it as a compliment that you have gone to them. If you’re less busy at work why not try learning a new skill from a work colleague? Obviously don’t ask them if they are extremely busy, they won’t appreciate that.

Time outside of work
Even though you’re not in the office your time outside of work also has an impact on your happiness levels at work. Exercise is proven to reduce stress. Make sure you fit in regular exercise like going to the gym or joining a sport club to help release the happy hormones. In addition add some variety to your days off. Try new and different things and push yourself outside your comfort zone every once in a while. After all variety is the spice of life.
