“I joined KennedyPearce in July 2011 with no prior recruitment experience. When I started I found the team really supportive. I was sat next to Stephen Pearce who trained me on the basics of recruitment and attended Carly’s weekly training sessions which really complimented my ‘on the job’ training. My first couple of weeks were a little hectic, I was given my first job to work on which I placed on my second week. Over time I developed my own clients through business development, and began to manage a couple of big company accounts, having full responsibility for sourcing, briefing and closing candidates.

In January I moved to work exclusively on qualified finance roles, and my proudest moment so far is placing the Head of Finance at a leading media business which was my biggest ever fee. I now manage my own desk, clients and candidates. The managers trust me to work by myself but are always around to bounce ideas off and give advice and guidance when I need it. I would describe the culture here as co-operative, fun and hardworking. We have a good mix of senior and new consultants all of which have made me feel welcome from the day I started”
