Accounts Assistant – Private Equity

This International Private Equity company has an excellent reputation and track record and is looking to recruit a dynamic and motivated Accounts Assistant for its small but perfectly formed finance team. This is a role that will offer diversity and exposure. Reporting into the senior accountant the main duties will involve:

* Accounts payable function – posting & coding invoices, dealing with queries, getting invoices authorised for payment, setting up new supplier accounts
* Reviewing and processing expenses for employees
* Bank reconciliations
* Posting month end journals
* Processing weekly payment of invoices
* Payroll – processing monthly FPS salaries
* Processing weekly payment of invoices, expenses
* Treasury management – monthly FX hedge bank transfer, collecting receipts for monthly credit card reconciliation, monitoring cash balances, cashflow forecasts, monitoring daily FX rates
* Processing fund deal cost invoices, co-ordinating sign off and payment of deal costs in timely manner
* Collating data for monthly financial reporting dashboard
* Assisting with annual budget preparations for all offices
* Assisting with preparation of information packs for quarterly management meetings
* Assisting with the annual audit
* Assisting with any other ad hoc duties
* Other project work as arises
As the ideal candidate you will have at least 2 years experience as an assistant accountant within a corporate accounting function. You will be used to working to deadlines, have excellent communication skills and intermediate excel skills. Study support will be offered.
