Client On-Boarding Officer

City based FCA authorised and regulated FX broker, are looking for an enthusiastic, hard working and diligent client onboarding officer. You will be required to conduct full KYC/AML checks on all new clients in accordance with internal procedures and regulatory requirements.

Main Responsibilities include:

* Take ownership for the end to end onboarding process of new clients and third parties to include fulfilment of AML & KYC requirements.
* Stay current with all regulatory changes and requirements around client KYC and suitability.
* Identify and conduct PEP/Sanction screenings
* Update and maintain client information and documentation
* Liase with sales team and compliance
* Conduct desktop investigations of clients utilising all available internal/external systems
* Produce Management Information reports for senior management
* Establish and set up trade conditions with our trading systems
* Provide assistance to develop, maintain and improve CRM
* Assist in preparation of various client on-boarding procedures/manuals

Essential Skills & Experience

* University degree or equivalent
* Previous experience with KYC/AML in a financial institution
* Client data handling and client services experience
* Team driven and results orientated
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Analytical mind set as well as being able to plan and organise yourself
* Self-motivated and assertive with excellent interpersonal skills
* Confident and proactive in communicating with people at all levels
* Able to work in a deadline driven environment
* Exercise sound judgement and observe the highest degree of confidentiality

Desirable skills/Experience

* Understanding of complex corporate structures ( both foreign and domestic such as funds, trusts, partnerships and SPVs
* Working towards or interest in understanding KYC/AML qualifications
* Language skills would be beneficial – in particular Mandarin
