Corporate Development Analyst

Reporting to the Head of Corporate Development the position is to lead the development and reporting of financial communications with Bid Team on selected targets and to support the development of the related financial submissions by providing specialist technical accounting advice.

The role also incorporates all aspects of financial data analysis and related report preparation including bid forecasts and the population of base data in the bid financial and operational models.

Additionally, you will tasked with the following:

* Providing resilience for the Head of Management Information by being able to fully deputise in all matters
* Preparation and presentation of bid team management accounts, bid budgets and forecasts (including for the medium term plan and long term strategic planning)
* Preparation and presentation of bid financial communications (including content development and the identification and action of process improvement opportunities)
* Drafting of bid documentation in support of the financial submissions and management of external stakeholders
* Provide technical accounting support to the bid finance team (IFRS and UK GAAP)
* Support the bid finance team in the preparation of robust business cases and data analysis
* Identifying any risks and developing and implementing mitigation measures
* Using knowledge and experience to contribute to the overall development of the bid strategy
* Indirect management of the Finance Business Analyst

The successful candidate will be:

* Qualified ACA from ideally Transaction Services.
* Experience of bids, tenders, pricing would be a distinct advantage
