European Reporting manager & Senior Group Accountant

**HIRING** – European Reporting Manager & Senior Group Accountant – £60-65,000+ Bens – West End

KPC are working with an established but continually growing FTSE 250 Property developer/investor who are looking for an ACA Qualified accountant with industry exposure in a technical/reporting capacity.

Due to continued growth our client is looking add further technical experience to their team. The opportunity whilst reporting focused is varied and will offer great exposure to the business.

Reporting directly into the Head of Group Reporting and working closely with Head of Finance, CFO & CEO, responsibilities will include:

Ownership of all reporting aspects of the European Portfolio, including:

* Management of and guidance to outsourced service providers
* Completion of Quarterly European Segment Reporting
* Preparation and development of management accounts packs for German entities/portfolios with KPI analysis and commentary
* Management of monthly Ex Co reporting process on portfolio stats (including capex/tenant arrears)
* Ad hoc transactions (acquisitions and disposals), including preparation of technical accounting papers
* Joint Venture reporting
* Oversight and review of all statutory submissions prepared by service providers, ensuring all filing deadlines are met
* Bi-annual balance sheet substantiation process
* Holding structure rationalisation as appropriate

Group Reporting:

* Integral involvement in external reporting process
* Review of audited financial statements for Group subsidiaries/sub-groups prepared by direct report in accordance with IFRS/UK GAAP (FRS 101)
* Integral involvement in Group and subsidiary audits
* Management of all joint venture deliverables
* Review and rationalisation of all debt related postings
* Drafting accounting papers on technical accounting issues
* Development of automated consolidation process with Head of Group
* Reporting and automated translation of euro denominated entities
* Assistance with maintenance and development of robust financial controls
* General support to Head of Group Reporting, including collaboration on
* development of a Group compliance calendar
* Accounting support and guidance to wider finance team and to European
* administrators
* Ad Hoc requests from Management including special projects
* Ownership of all Group covenant reporting requirements
* Continued improvements to timeliness and uniformity of compliance reporting
* Continued improvements to the covenant tracker, developed for internal use
* Ongoing assistance and support to CFO and deputy CEO on all internal and
* external debt reporting and refinancing transactions

This is highly critical role within the organisation and will also be very exposed to senior management, giving you a great opportunity to add value to the business.

To be considered you must have/be:

* Qualified ACA (from Practice) with (ideally) 2 years PQE within Industry
* Real Estate/Property sector experience is highly desirable
* Group/Consolidation exposure (Preferably with EMEA exposure)
* Strong business partnering skills
* Ideally 1 month notice (will wait for the right person)
