Finance and Operations Manager – Private Equity

This growing, recently formed Private Equity firm is really taking the market by storm and has significantly grown its portfolio of clients and investments over the previous 18 months. With a prestigious management and Investment team in place they are looking to grow and improve their internal and back office functions, looking for excellent talent to be able to facilitate and keep pace with their growth.

As such they are looking to recruit an experienced Finance and Operations Manager to help them solidify and improve their processes and grow out the function. This role is being earmarked to step up into a CFO role in the next 2 years.

The role will take control of all “back office” manager and fund-related financial and operational matters, including:

* Maintaining a professional operational platform, ensuring best in class institutional quality processes, controls, compliance and systems
* Building trust and credibility with third party service providers
* Ensuring the business meets all its regulatory and corporate obligations
* Oversight of all non-investment parts of the business, including operational procedures and controls, IT, HR, Compliance/Regulation and infrastructure
* Financial oversight of management and investment entities
* Input as required into the investment process
* Managing investor operational due diligence
* Managing investor reporting with the administrator, ensuring 100% accuracy
* As required, assistance with new fund raising
* Independent input into the valuation process

As the ideal candidate you will be a fully qualified accountant with experience working in a Private Equity or Fund environment. You will be extremely confident and able to work well with senior management. A knowledge of working with 3rd party providers would help.
