An excellent opportunity for a fundraising events coordinator to work for this national charity based in the City of London

You will assist the fundraising team in

* being the first point of contact
* point of contact for volunteers
* assist community and events team fundraising activity, taking responsibility for projects from time to time
* To forward regional and national fundraisers details of fundraisers in their area (where relevant)
* To assist with the recruitment and manage events team volunteers
* Assist with events and the development of supporter communications, marketing plans, supporting participants, to meet the requirements of any sponsorship agreement.
* Maintain budgets and finance information
* Update and maintain volunteers details and donor details
* General office admin duties to ensure full support to the team

You will

* Have excellent communication skills
* Have a proactive approach to work.
* Demonstrate use of initiative but also a team player
* Previous customer services experience of receiving and making outbound calls
* Previous charity, fundraising or events experience is desirable
* Good MS Office skills
* Knowledge of fundraising databases

* Flexibility of working some evenings and weekends
* A level educated or equivalent; degree level or equivalent desirable but not essential

To commence: ASAP
Salary: £20K – £22K (pro rata)
Duration: ongoing to end August 2018
