As a treasury dealer you will be responsible for:

* Provide the Head of Wholesale Banking daily commentary reports on P&L, liquidity risk and adherence to relevant limits with support of department representative.
* Transact money market trades, with minimal external guidance, that optimize the composition of the balance sheet and make money for treasury bearing in mind bank strategy and anticipated shape of the yield curve. Liaison with Operations
* Liaison with other business lines to understand the status of pipeline deals to ensure that treasury has adequate notice to pre-fund pipeline assets and manage their liquidity requirements
* Share owner ship of the generic Treasury email ¡V advising and responding to incoming mail as appropriate including but not restricted to; providing benchmark rates (such as LIBOR reference rates) to other departments; updating of pipeline report based on information inflow;
* To use Bloomberg and other available tools to research and analyse markets relevant to the London branch
* To provide input of trends and concerns that may impact the department¡¦s ability to meet commitments of liquidity or pricing
* Issue trade execution and attend meetings (internally and externally) as the department representative is absent
* Execute transactions without error; representing the department, branch and bank in the appropriate manner
* Transact client FX deal flow
* Contribute to diversifying the sources of branch funding by identifying and developing transactional relationships with banks and corporate counterparties
* Negotiation and execution of money market and FX trades with banks and corporates
* Support adherence to all internal Treasury and liquidity policies
* Support responsibility of the PRA liquidity requirements and documentations through the Head of Wholesale Banking.
* To manage Assets and Liability Committee reports monthly. (ALCO)
* Responsible for the treasury elements of the ad-hoc reporting on credit lines, P&L, LCR, NSFR, HQLA.
* Investigating errors and queries resulting from the production of management information.
* Provide second layer coverage for holidays and absences to the department representative
* Responsible for the compilation of the Treasury Committee pack and other reporting requires within the branch
* Ensure all procedures followed by treasury are documented.

As a treasury dealer you will need to have:

* Over 2 years experience within treasury environment with exposure to LCR/NSFR/Liquidity gap management.
* University degree
* Professional qualifications such as CFA/ ACT/IFQ/ Certificate of AML
* All treasury products
* Good understanding of cash and FX products
* Sounds understanding of valuations of financial instruments in banking and trading books.
* Ability to compute numerical data by performing complex calculations using methods such as ratios, percentages and trend analysis.
* Knowledge of Calypso and Bloomberg and other systems.
* Excellent knowledge of MS Office skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
