The Power of Employer Branding

Power of Employer Branding – why a candidate would chose Kennedy Pearce over another agency

A specialist in your profession

There are successful generalist recruitment consultancies out there, but it is best to engage an agency that specialises in your chosen profession. Specialist recruitment consultancies know the skills, experience and qualifications that are required for roles in that profession and thus have a better idea of which roles candidates are likely to be suitable for. They should also have an extensive range of contacts within your line of business. Kennedy Pearce handles accountancy, finance, financial services, executive support and marketing roles, and has a team of specialists covering each of these areas. Our clients range from FTSE 250 Blue Chips to small start-ups.

Evidence of success

If a company in a highly competitive market is growing quickly, it must be doing something right, or else it would be losing out to its competitors. Kennedy Pearce is one of the 100 fastest growing privately owned companies in the UK, according to the Sunday Times Virgin Fast Track 100.

You should also look for evidence that individual consultants within the company have been successful in placing candidates into important roles. The Team Testimonials section of the Kennedy Pearce website contains several such examples. The Client Testimonials section shows how Kennedy Pearce has been able to assist a number of individuals in finding their dream role.

General advice

The best agencies do not just file your CV and hopefully contact you when a suitable vacancy arises. Ideally, a recruitment consultancy would also provide advice to maximise your chances of landing the job you really want. Kennedy Pearce can give comprehensive expert advice on topics such as designing a CV, interview techniques and salary negotiations – see the Advice section of our website.

Many agencies offer some form of reward to individuals who introduce someone to them who is subsequently offered a new role. Many agencies only offer these rewards for offers of permanent employment, but at Kennedy Pearce, we will pay £250 to anyone who introduces a candidate who is subsequently placed into a permanent or contract role, and £100 to anyone who introduces a candidate for whom we manage to secure temporary employment for four weeks or longer.
