A leading Real Estate Investment firm are looking for a dynamic Accountant to join their fast growing company as it expands its investments in Europe.

The client's strategic focus is to invest in markets and real estate sectors with good growth potential.

The Accountant will be responsible for the provision of financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering support for the real estate components, along with supporting the Finance Manager with ensuring a consistently smooth set of accounting functions for one of their asset's within the UK finance team.

Responsibilities

• Providing financial accounting, management reporting and business partnering support
• Month-end closing and balance sheet reconciliations
• Preparation of management reporting
• Preparation of financial statements for audit
• Budgeting and forecasting
• Review of accounts prepared by property managers/operators/outsourced agents
• Assisting with the implementation of policies, processes and systems
• Business partnering with relevant Asset Managers
• Ensuring internal control and compliance
• Ad-hoc project work

Requirements

• Finalist - Newly qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA or equivalent)
• 2 years relevant financial experience in the real estate industry
• Commercial real estate experience
• Sound knowledge of Microsoft Excel (pivots, lookups, sumifs)
• Good knowledge of local accounting standards and IFRS
• SAP experience desirable
• Strong interpersonal skills with excellent communication ability
• High attention to detail
• Able to work in a fast-paced environment, meeting deadlines and dealing with competing and changing priorities
