Kennedypearce are working with a large consulting company who are looking for a part qualified accountant with 1-2 yeard experiance to join their dynamic finance team. This is a London based role paying between £40-50K pa.

Principal Duties

• Maintain records of accounting transactions and evaluate results efficiently
• Analyze accounting process, identify issues and perform research on all solutions to ensure efficient workflows
• Maintain journal entries and all ledger accounts and ensure reconciliation of all statements according to accounting standards
• Perform regular analysis on accounting issues and resolve it efficiently
• Administer reconciliation of all contracts amounts and manage all claims on monthly basis
• Maintain and perform regular update on accounting systems on an everyday basis
• Monitoring cash flows
• Review of VAT returns/VAT compliance
• Manage billing of all projects ensure accuracy in same and perform evaluation on a monthly basis
• Develop various internal control programs and maintenance programs for same
• Contribute to the development of the Finance team processes to ensure these are cohesive, efficient and effective

Essential Knowledge, Skills, Experience

• 1-2 years' experience of working in Finance either in-house or professional practice
• Outstanding numeracy, data management and manipulation skills
• IT literate, including strong Microsoft Excel skills
• Part qualified (ACA, ACCA, CIMA)
• Knowledge of Financial systems
