A leading music firm based in the City, are looking for an Accounts Assistant with at least 6 months previous experience in Finance role. This is a great opportunity for someone who has a keen interest in the Media/Music industry and who is studying towards an accountancy qualification.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Managing Supplier Accounts split with the rest of the team
• Maintaining the books and records using Sage Line 50
• Ensuring correct coding of invoices
• Processing and tracking business rates, council tax and utilities
• Cash book and Bank Reconciliations
• VAT Returns
• Credit Card Reconciliations
• Processing payment runs
• Arranging payment of authorised purchase invoices by preparing transfer documents and setting up internet payments
• Assisting the Team Leader and Head of Department with ad hoc projects that may arise

Experience Needed

• At least 6 months' previous experience in a Finance role
• Currently studying towards AAT/ACCA/CIMA
• Degree Educated (2:1 and above)
• Keen interest in the Music Industry
• Motivated with a 'can do' attitude
• Ability to meet tight deadlines
• Great in person with excellent communication skills
