Job description

About the Role.

As a result of my clientws success and significant global growth, they are increasing the size of their Finance team. This provides an amazing opportunity to join the team as an Accounts Payable Officer, based in their Global Head Office in West London.

Key responsibilities in this role include;

  • Managing the weekly payment cycle to ensure timely payment of creditor invoices, setting up the payments through the company's online banking system;

  • Managing the staff reimbursement process;

  • Liaising with suppliers and respond to inquiries;

  • Raising Purchase Orders in accordance with policy and procedure and ensure they are distributed in a timely manner;

  • Maintaining meticulous records, keeping track of all payments and expenditures, purchase orders and invoices to support cash flow management;

  • Processing, coding and reconciling all invoices, expense claims and credit card payments timely and accurately; and

  • Constantly reviewing the method by which tasks are undertaken to ensure that the most efficient and effective procedures are in place and being used.

About You.

In addition to the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment, balance multiple priorities, work under pressure and meet strict deadlines we are seeking applications from candidates who demonstrate;

  • Experience in an accounts payable role in a growing organisation;

  • Ability to build rapport across the business and relate to people at all levels;

  • Proven experience in liaising with multiple internal and external stakeholders; and

  • Excellent written skills with strong attention to detail.

My client promote strategic employee development and internal career progression opportunities. They encourage applications from those with relevant education and qualifications (such as a tertiary qualification in Accounting, Finance or similar) who can build a successful, long term career within Finance.

Personal strengths that will enable you to flourish in this role include being agile, energised by adherence to process, action-oriented and detail-focused.
