We currently have a Full-Time contract position in our Finance Department for an experienced Accounts Payable Officer - reporting to the Financial Controller.

Duties & Responsibilities:

• Full AP function
• Accurate, high volume invoice processing
• Matching and coding of invoices and credit notes
• Customs import compliance
• Foreign currency payments
• Weekly and monthly vendor payment runs across multiple entities
• General journal entries
• Supplier prepayments
• Adhoc vendor payments as required
• GL Account reconciliations
• Supplier reconciliations
• Resolve supplier queries
• Identify and/or participate in process improvement
• Adhoc duties as required

Requirements:

• MUST have intermediate Excel skills (pivot tables, vlookups, etc)
• MUST have at least 2 years in an Accounts Payable or Accounting role
• Working knowledge of a medium to large finance system
• Must have strong use of SAP
• Able to communicate effectively with a diverse range of internal and external stakeholders
• Process and compliance driven
• Proactive and self-motivated
• High attention to detail
• Mature minded with the ability to work in a fast-paced and ever changing environment
• Passion for growth, innovation & process improvement
• Experience with the latest AP and process technologies (Auto matching, Scanning and OCR etc) would be looked upon favourably
