A great opportunity has arisen for an Assistant Financial Accountant with a leading fund administrator firm based in the city of London. This senior Accountant role is responsible for the financial administration and accounting related functions.

Responsibilities

• Record client transactions in designated accounting software, ensuring all transactions are recorded timely and accurately
• Preparation of monthly and/or quarterly management accounts
• Preparation of annual statutory financial statements in accordance to UK GAAP and IFRS
• Preparation of group consolidated statutory accounts under IFRS
• Provide Audit assistance
• Responsible for the management of client banking accounts and necessary banking administration

Experience Needed

• Working knowledge of IFRS is essential
• Previous experience in preparing statutory financial statements under UK GAAP
• ACCA/CIMA candidate
• Degree educated - 2:1 or above
• Excellent Excel skills
• Understanding of VAT and experience in preparing and submitting VAT returns
