Job description

My client are a private bank based in Mayfair. There are currently hiring for a Client Onboarding Analyst to join their team on a permanent basis. This role will be reporting to the Head of client onboarding.

Duties and responsibilities of the Client Onboarding Analyst

  • Reviewing account opening submissions including checking data in the account opening workflow tool for accuracy
  • Liaising with the front office teams to provide feedback on account opening submissions and offer advisory support when needed
  • Supporting the Client Onboarding Team with managing the end-to-end process for new client account openings
  • Adding and monitoring document issues related to new client account openings
  • Managing the archiving of client documentation received for new client account openings
  • Updating the banking systems for new client account openings
  • Assisting in/managing ad-hoc projects to remediate data on banking systems and/or client documentation, improving existing processes and procedures, or testing new system updates
  • Support the wider Client Lifecycle Management Team if and when required

  • Understanding of KYC/CDD requirements and different client types
  • Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multi-task and prioritise work, as well as being able to stop/start tasks when reprioritised
  • Flexibility to wear "many hats" and get involved with more than what the everyday role requires, taking on additional responsibilities when required
  • Ability to suggest improvements and be open to improvements/suggestions on tasks you may be working on
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel and Outlook)
  • Strong IT skills; learn to use multiple systems interchangeably for the completion of everyday tasks
  • Strong organisational and planning skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Work collaboratively, demonstrating initiative and ownership of tasks and issues
