The Job……

Reporting through to the Group Credit Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties:

  • Maximise cash flow by ensuring monthly cash targets are achieved and aged debt is minimized
  • Manage and control a set ledger of commercial accounts
  • Build solid working relationships with internal and external stakeholders
  • Providing aged debtor reports to management highlighting key risk accounts via Excel
  • Work with the credit team to ensure the credit control policies, procedures and processes are continually updated and relevant
  • review and approve project fees as required
  • Manage the Accounts Receivable inbox and ensure queries are answered within 24 hours
  • Month end statement preparation and distribution
  • Liaise with Business Administrators and Project Managers to resolve client queries and reconcile accounts
  • Credit checks to assess credit risk
  • Address customer queries in a timely and efficient manner, provide copy invoices as required, record detailed notes and reconcile accounts as required
  • Ad hoc projects as directed by the Group Credit Manager

You….

To be successful in this role, you must have experience in the following areas:

  • Ideally you will have worked in commercial credit control role for a minimum of 3 years and have a thorough understanding of the full credit lifecycle
  • Enjoy working as part of a team to reach collection targets
  • Have strong Excel skills and the ability to pick up new computer systems with ease
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • The ability to meet deadlines and work efficiently under conflicting deadlines
  • Strong work ethic
  • Ability to maintain and develop relationships with internal and external stakeholders
