Leading UK Logistics company is looking to expand its finance team recruiting a Cost Analyst to specialise in overheads. 6 month minimum contract , Central London based location.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Prepare and post Overheads journals for accruals, prepayments and recharges to strict monthly deadlines

• Analyse results and produce written commentary on the variances to Budget/Forecast and the Prior Year at both the macro and micro levels

• Reconcile the Overheads accruals and prepayments balance sheets

• Share monthly reporting with each cost centre owner and meet with each on at least a quarterly basis to discuss the results

• Provide a business partnering service with each cost centre owner to assist in making strategic decisions that affect their cost centres

• Prepare and upload the annual Budget figures for Central Overheads ensuring sign-off from each cost centre owner

• Present the annual Overheads Budget to the CEO/CFO and the Executive Committee when required and answer any questions they may have

• Ensure all routine and ad-hoc reporting requirements are met
