National Credit Manager

The National Credit Manager has overall responsibility for co-ordinating the management of numerous ledgers. The role is intended to ensure that debtors management is at a good level, that compliance with internal and insurance company policies are adhered to and that customer relationships are not adversely impacted by that process.

Responsibilities

• Assessment and approval of large accounts, nationwide
• Management with local business input of credit process at each business unit
• Responsibility for group credit/group credit policy and monitoring
• Send out monthly client statments
• Assist in developing the credit management capability
• post payments to accounts and allocate as required
• Management of credit insurance approvals of accounts
• Opportunity to enhance credit processes, reporting and approach

Billing Analyst Duties

• Raising invoices for 500 accounts
• Handle disputed bills and negotiate to bring payment within the agreed terms
• Update client agreements in SAP
• Raising Credit notes and Journals

Skills & Experience

The successful candidate will:

• Be a motivated and experienced person
• Have multi-currency experience (A MUST)
• Have a background in assessment of credit,
• Have a well developed sense of communication
• Ability to obtain co-operation from the team
• Used SAP
• Be able to work well with people and to support their development
