Custody Transfer Analyst

Job description

• Processing the custody transfer instructions from Clients. This will involve frequent dialogue with our Clients/ Counterparties to ensure that transactions are booked correctly and settle on a timely basis

• Acting as a point of contact for Fund Desk Custody Clients to lodge their queries and issues in relation to custody positions and transfers

• Assisting with reviewing these queries and providing regular updates to the clients on the progress or otherwise on the resolution of their issues within our benchmark standards. To ensure that the customer service provided to our external clients and internal counterparts is kept to a high standard

• Assisting with reviewing all open free transfers (delivery and receipt) of funds into/out of custody with us, and ensuring that all items more than 3 days past value date are chased with Fund Managers/Custodians and clients.

• To assist with the monthly reconciliation of security positions held. This entails investigating discrepancies between our records and those of out custodians

• Assisting with other functions within the transfers team as necessary and cover for other department members in their absence as required, with particular responsibility for covering the processing of custody transfer instructions and confirmations
