Job description

An experienced Snr HR Advisor / ER Specialist is required to assist the HR Director of this Communications Company based in the City. You will work as part of this busy and dynamic HR team and supporting with your HR generalist skills and taking the Lead on ER cases.

Main duties

  • To deliver the HR strategy and meet organisational objectives
  • Be responsible for all working areas of the business on a variety of HR and ER issues
  • Support the Managers as a trusted partner providing professional advice in line with the People strategy
  • Support to the business with an understanding of all local policies, procedures, and employment legislation,
  • Ensure you up tod at with Employment Law and Compliance issues
  • Advise Managers on ER issues including performance and behaviour and grievances
  • Be actively involved in all Capability, Performance and Grievance procedures and chair meetings
  • Be responsible for the content and communication of all local HR policies and procedures
  • Coach and advise line managers on how to effectively manage their people resource and to build and support an engaged workforce
  • Working closely with the HR Operations and the wider HR team to provide accurate and timely information on a variety of HR elements

Skills and Experience required

  • Previous experience of working as a HR Generalist
  • Previous experience of taking the lead on ER cases and advising bets proactive to Line Managers
  • CIPD qualified
  • Good knowledge of UK employment law
  • TUPE experience would be an advantage
  • Excellent verbal and written interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong organization and administrative skills
  • Stakeholder Management and demonstratable experience of working with Managers to improve performance and work environment,
  • Ability to work in a team with little supervision using own initiative
  • Experience using MS office suite

Duration: Minimum 3 months

Salary: £270 - £290 plus accrued holiday (PAYE)
