My client are a subscription magazine membership body based in the heart of central London, looking for an Events Administrator to join them on a 9 month contract.

This key role will provide logistical and administrative support in the delivery of a high number of events, including webinars, small meetings, large conferences and award ceremonies

Duties as Events Administrator:

Key responsibilities:

  • Supporting creation of event websites including online booking forms
  • Promoting events across all social media platforms and through email promotion
  • Assisting with creative decisions
  • Hosting webinars, including editing of recordings and uploading to the website
  • Liaising with authors e.g. confirmation correspondence, chasing deadlines for papers, presentations, registrations
  • Liaising with exhibitors and sponsors to fulfil our commitment for their promotional packages
  • Administration of delegate bookings e.g. producing name badges, population of content on the attendee apps and providing support to customers via telephone and website live chat
  • Supporting with the creation of logistic sheets for event venues (timings, numbers, catering, special requirements etc)
  • Ensuring event equipment and supplies arrive at events on time
  • Accompanying the Events Organiser and/or Head of Events to both internal and external events, with direct responsibility for the hosting of the on-site event registration desk and to provide support with ad-hoc duties as required
  • Attending meetings as required to act as a second point of contact
