A leading international business is looking for a strong Finance Analyst with excellent data and excel skills. You will need a finance background to understand the financial data requirements of the role and this experience will need to be from a large company. An accounting qualification is not essential although beneficial but in either case, you will need excellent data analysis and excel skills. The role is a mixture of BAU and project work relating to a new system build so experience in the latter is going to stand you in good stead.

Key duties:

• Financial Analysis
• Data mapping and Excel reporting
• Partnering with the project team working on design, testing and UAT
• Data mapping
• System reconciliations
• Database queries and subsequent provision of information to stakeholders
• Process improvements

Key skills

• Accounting qualifications are desirable but not essential
• Knowledge of SQL is preferable
• Strong large GL systems experience is useful
• Good communication skills
