Finance Analyst - Health, Wellness & Fitness

An exciting opportunity has arisen for an exceptional Finance Analyst with strong Excel ability to join a leading health and fitness organisation in central London. As part of the Finance team, you will be given the chance to gain experience working for a Fitness company in a fast paced team.

As the Finance Analyst you will be responsible to provide accurate and timely reporting and analysis of membership performance. You will support the rest of the FP&A team in providing constructive challenge and support to the wider business.

The UK Finance team for this client are sociable, savvy and ambitious and are therefore looking for someone with similar qualities to join their team.

Responsibilities

• Run daily, weekly and monthly membership reporting, circulating to all areas of the business, including senior management team
• Develop understanding of core membership processes across the business, and within the membership system, to ensure integrity of all membership reporting
• Ownership of the competition database including competitor pricing, new openings and conversions, supplying to the performance team on a fortnightly basis
• Support the Commercial Finance function to help deliver robust commercial analysis to the rest of the business
• Start to build knowledge and experience for commercial analysis
• Track promotional activity throughout the year
• Assist with the quarterly forecast and annual budget process
• Continual development of management information systems, to improve automation of reporting to key business users
• Develop strong relationship with Configuration team
• Support key tracking of new club performance - a critical growth avenue for the business
• Support the Commercial team with usage reporting for Hydromassage beds and bolt-on reporting

Requirements

• Degree level educated achieving a 2:1 or above from a reputable university
• Strong A levels and GCSE's
• 1 years experience in an analytical role - essential
• Keen interest and desire to progress within Finance and start studying for an accounting qualification preferably CIMA
• Quick to learn and implement new concepts, knowledge and skills
• Strong Excel and PowerPoint skills
• Preferable experience of working with multi-dimensional databases
• Confidence with working cross functionally
• Team player and flexible depending upon the urgent needs of the business
• Sociable personality - outgoing, confident communicator
• Enthusiastic and proactive

Salary: £23000 - £25000 plus study support
