Job description

KennedyPearce are currently recruiting a Finance Assistant on behalf of a internationally recognised digital entertainment comapny.

The role is ideally suited for an experienced accounting assistant who is looking to pursue a career in accounting. The role is responsible for assisting the Finance Manager with accurate accounting and reporting, of actuals.

The role will also be required to assist the business and other members of the central finance team so requires good people skills and excellent organisation skills to prioritise the workload and an ability to keep to tight deadlines at month-end.

Duties include:

  • Approving the price of bill of materials in the B2B system
  • Approving band migration requests
  • Reviewing and approving orders for shipment
  • Assisting publishers with pricing queries
  • Creating pricing adjustments
  • Preparing weekly sales reports
  • Vendor Master Data - Creating new suppliers in SAP, changing/updating existing information and collating the backup on a monthly basis for approval and SOX compliance
  • Adding new publisher accounts in SAP
  • Setting up new Business Models in B2B
  • Sending out statements to the publishers
  • Managing Aged Debtors Report
  • Maintaining a Credit Blocked Orders report and ensuring approval emails are saved
  • Preparing and posting various month end journals and accruals
  • Ad hoc analysis and reporting

Personal Specification

  • Systems literate - proven experience of SAP, with an intermediate level of Excel competency
  • Strong numerical and analytical skills
  • Good attention to detail
  • Ability to work within a time pressured environment and ensuring numerous deadlines are met
  • Good time management and organizational skills
  • Proactive and self-motivated
  • Logical, methodical and consistent approach to controls and procedures
  • Good communication skills (both written and verbal) with the ability to build effective relationships
  • Conscientious working attitude, with the ability to use initiative

This role is paying up to £30k + study support
