About the role
Reporting to the Accountant, the key duties and responsibilities of this role include (but are not limited to):
- Accounts Payables - Invoice processing, Suppliers statements Reconciliation & Filling (approximately 60% of the role)
- Weekly payment processing
- Reconciliation of bank accounts and credit cards
- Resolving Supplier's queries
- Accounts Receivables - limited to entering debtor's invoices and cash receipts allocations
- Assisting Finance team with month-end reporting
- Provide backup support when the payroll officer is absent
Key Selection Criteria .
- Minimum 3 years of experience in an Accounts department
- Previous exposure to Accounts Payables and Payroll processing
- Minimum 1 years exposure to a Payroll System
- A completed Australian recognised tertiary qualification in Accounting
- Working knowledge of MYOB accounting system
- Intermediate Microsoft Office ability, specifically Excel, Word & Outlook
- Superior communication (written and verbal) and interpersonal skills
- Proven time management ability, coupled with meticulous attention to detail
- Must have the right to work in Australia
