KennedyParce are currently sourcing a Finance Data Analyst for a global logistics company. Please apply if you are immediate, looking for a 12 month fixed term contract and have a lot of experience data analysing, cost analysing and reviewing projects. The salary range is up to £35,000.

As a Financial Analyst, you will act as a point person for all finance support required for reporting, financial analysis and performance analysis. You will develop and maintain models to evaluate financial and operational analysis, ensuring accurate, consistent and timely information is produced. To be successful in this role, you will demonstrate first-class data manipulation and analytical skills alongside strong financial and commercial acumen.

Other Responsibilities:

• Writing monthly forecast commentary giving causation factors where identified - reflecting corrective actions in forecast or update trends to ensure accuracy is continually improved
• Supporting specific areas of responsibility with detailed cost analysis/forecast and helping drive the budget owners to hit their cost challenges
• Improving the business focus and presentation of information
• Ad-hoc projects which require financial input/advice, analysis and interpretation of financial results
• Working with other areas of finance to influence their activity in fulfilling the activities set out above

Required Skills:
Part-qualified accountant (ACCA/CIMA/ACA) with experience within a Commercial Finance role
Proven data manipulation and analytical competency - ability to draw conclusions and find trends in data
Strong knowledge of business performance appraisal and financial analysis
Advanced Microsoft Excel skills
Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build positive relationships across all levels, with the strength to push back as appropriate
Experience working towards deadlines and handling multiple priorities
