Job description

FINANCE MANAGER ROLE - 7 MONTH CONTRACT

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Administer accounting policies and procedures
  • Approve the processing of vendor invoices
  • Assist account management with the collection of unpaid customer invoices
  • Manage the cash position
  • Produce monthly financial statements for management and the US-based parent company
  • Managing pension scheme updates and monthly contributions.
  • Prepare Month-end/Year-end closing of financials
  • Bank Reconciliations
  • Prepare monthly management reports
  • Prepare annual statutory accounts and quarterly VAT returns
  • Prepare client invoices
  • Preparing management accounts
  • Reconciliations include; Intercompany (multi-currency), Revenue, Cost of sale, WIP
  • Fixed assets
  • Petty cash
  • Monitoring cash balances; Maintaining cash book
  • Preparation of cash flow statements and liaising with the US over funding requirements

Experience Required:

Minimum of three years of experience in financial/accounting role

Skills & Knowledge Required:

  • Knowledge of accounting systems and spreadsheets
  • Excellent communication, initiative and team skills
  • Proficient in MS Office skills
  • Oracle Financials experience a plus
