Job description
FINANCE MANAGER ROLE - 7 MONTH CONTRACT
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Administer accounting policies and procedures
- Approve the processing of vendor invoices
- Assist account management with the collection of unpaid customer invoices
- Manage the cash position
- Produce monthly financial statements for management and the US-based parent company
- Managing pension scheme updates and monthly contributions.
- Prepare Month-end/Year-end closing of financials
- Bank Reconciliations
- Prepare monthly management reports
- Prepare annual statutory accounts and quarterly VAT returns
- Prepare client invoices
- Preparing management accounts
- Reconciliations include; Intercompany (multi-currency), Revenue, Cost of sale, WIP
- Fixed assets
- Petty cash
- Monitoring cash balances; Maintaining cash book
- Preparation of cash flow statements and liaising with the US over funding requirements
Experience Required:
Minimum of three years of experience in financial/accounting role
Skills & Knowledge Required:
- Knowledge of accounting systems and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication, initiative and team skills
- Proficient in MS Office skills
- Oracle Financials experience a plus
