KennedyPearce are currently recruiting a Finance Manager on a Part Time basis for a IT business based in Central London.

This is an opportunity to lead and a small finance team at an IT company at its key stage of its development. You will have responsibility for the day to day running of the Finance & Operations department, managing the company's finances and workplace. You will provide effective leadership and management to motivate three direct reports, coaching and developing team members to improve their performance.

You will also be required to develop budgets and provide timely financial reporting to support the achievement of the company's objectives.

Reporting

  • Produce monthly UK and consolidated management accounts, overseeing and assisting the US subsidiary
  • Report on sales each month, with analysis and insights
  • Publish a monthly report on the Finance & Operation team's activities and plans
  • Produce and file statuary UK, US and consolidated financial statements

Budgeting & Forecasting

  • Run the annual budget process for the UK & US
  • Assist with the settling of scales targets
  • Analyse and forecast finances to develop opportunities and manage cash
  • Ensure resources and adequate for future requirements
  • Ensure financial reports and forecasts are adequate and robust
  • Support the board and management team in decision making

Payroll

  • Run and administer the outsourced payroll
  • Set up sales commission spread sheets and check monthly calculations
  • Handle adhoc questions

Tax

  • Quarterly VAT returns
  • Annual PAYE returns
  • Corporation tax compliance
  • US tax compliance

Skills/Experience

  • Degree Education
  • Qualified Accountant (Ideally qualified in practice)
  • Several years post qualification financial management experience within an SME
  • Very Strong Excel skills

This role is paying between £60,000-70,000pa, salary pro rata (3 days @ 7.5 hours or 5 days @ 4.5 hours)
