JOB TITLE: Assistant Finance Manager

REPORTING TO: Senior Finance Manager

DEPARTMENT: Fund Accounting

LOCATION: London

Responsibilities

• Day to day accounting tasks including AP management
• Assist with intercompany loans calculations, booking of intercompany transactions and settlement of quarterly interest and balances
• Review of quarterly finance packs prepared by external service providers if required
• Participate in the production of quarterly investment reports to investors for the various Funds and mandates within the team when required
• Assist the team where required in preparing the various finance reporting packs, consolidation and all associated reporting for the investors
• Assist in the year-end audit process where applicable
  Assist in the winding down of various Funds and entities to ensure an orderly liquidation process
• Support with the preparation, review and filing of annual statutory financial statements under local GAAP and Fund level
• Monitor the preparation and filing of annual statutory financial statements
• Liaise with property managers and third-party debt providers to ensure timely, quality financial deliverables and covenants adhered to
• To provide internal and external stakeholders, from time to time, with information that they require on the Funds or mandates to meet their obligations
• To develop strong relationships and interact with external service providers (auditors, local external service providers, depositary, legal advisors etc)
• Assist in ad hoc projects for both the Fund finance team and wider business from time to time

Requirements

• Part Qualified/Finalist accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA)
• Knowledge of IFRS
• Exceptional organisational skills and the ability to work to fixed deadlines
• Strong verbal and written communicator with an ability to liaise across all levels of the business
• Real estate funds experience preferable
• Adaptability and commercial awareness
• Results, deadline and quality driven

Salary: £40000 - £45000 plus study support
