Financial Accountant property - 5 Months Contract

The Role:
Our client is a large recognized property business in East London. They are looking to hire an experienced Senior Property Accountant for a 5-6 month contract. You will have the opportunity to work with a large and talented finance team and work with a variety of stakeholders across the business. Due to the nature of the role, immediately available candidates with previous experience in Property will be highly favoured

Key duties will include;

• Assist in the preparation of the consolidated financial statements compliant with IFRS within strict timelines;
• Assist in the preparation of the individual statutory financial statements for the groups subsidiaries compliant with FRS 101/FRS 102 within strict timelines;
• Prepare information and analysis as requested by auditors;
• Prepare analysis required by tax advisors;
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations for specified accounts; and
• Ad hoc requests to support the Financial Reporting Manager and Group Financial Reporting Manager.

Key Requirements:

• Qualified or well progressed part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CPA)
• Experience in preparation of statutory financial statements under IFRS, FRS 101 and FRS 102
• Either audit trained or evidence of working with auditors in preparation of accounts
• Attention to detail
• Organised
• Ability to effectively multi-task and prioritise
• Positive attitude
