The Company

Multinational company with four different lines of business each with their own finance team. Based in West London, the company has expanded recently and transferred people internally and now needs to recruit externally. The business seeks motivated and driven Accountants who are proactive. They welcome ideas about improving processes and making efficiencies.

Opportunity

This is the most senior position in the team and therefore you would get involved in the more interesting and complex entities:

• Production of statutory accounts for all UK and Europe entities,
• Ensuring compliance with FRS 102, or IFRS
• Liaising with auditors
• Producing co-ordinated statutory accounts and tax filing and compliance timetable
• Preparing consolidated statutory accounts
• Technical assistance in relation to new accounting standards (e.g. IFRS 16)
• Preparation of tax pack information
• Other ad hoc projects relating to UK Group entities

Experience & Qualifications:

• Qualified accountant or equivalent with 1 years' minimum post qualification experience
• Knowledge of IFRS and differences to FRS 102
• Experience of preparing statutory accounts
• Strong financial, analytical and system skills
