Newly Qualified Financial Accountant

About Our Client

Our client has established themselves as one of the most easily recognised global leaders in the FMCG industry. They are now looking to add a fun and vibrant newly qualified financial account to their London team on a 12 month contract.

The successful candidate will demonstrate solid prior experience in a similar role. They will have exceptional interpersonal, oral and written communication skills and have the ability to build and maintain professional relationships across all stakeholders. This role will require a solution focused individual who will be required to manage multiple and complex projects within tight time frames. They must have the ability to cope under pressure, possess high level attention to detail, prioritising and time management skills and take a consultative approach to all tasks.

Reporting to the Financial Controller and working alongside the finance team your role will complement the financial management of the business.

Our Successful Candidate should display the following skills

  • CIMA/ACCA/ACA/CA/CA ANZ qualified with at least 2 year's post qualified experience.
  • Multi-site experience is a bonus
  • Annual budgets & forecasting for business departments and the group as required
  • Analyse reports and provide information to assist commercial decision making
  • Manage risk management policies and procedures
  • Analysis of data and adhoc reporting
  • Knowledge of US and UK GAAP, and IFRS accounting standards
  • Knowledge of SOX and internal controls
  • Maintenance of the company's stock and inventory record & cash flow model
  • Assisting in all aspects of the accounting team as required
  • It is desirable that applicants have prior industry experience and demonstrated expertise in financial analysis
  • Experience working with large ERP accounting and reporting system; Oracle and HFM is essential
