A large privately owned business with a complex and sophisticated portfolio of investments are looking for a Financial Accountant during a significant period of growth. This is an interesting role that allows you to be an Accountant for the general ledger of the assets that you will be supporting of the business.

Reporting to the Finance Manager, you will be responsible for the following duties;

• Monthly and weekly finance and management reporting
• Monthly and quarterly General Ledger and Balance Sheet reconciliations.
• Assist with the preparation of Statutory Accounts.
• Monthly, Quarterly and Annual Tax returns
• Inter-company Consolidations
• Weekly and Monthly Journals
• Assistance with the standardisation of accounting process across group,
• Develops, implement and maintain systems, procedures and policies, to ensure adherence to company guidelines.

To be considered for this opportunity you must have previous experience working as an Accountant and looking after the month end process for a number of entities. You will be confident in your ability to hit the ground running and be comfortable working with minimal supervision.

You will have a strong attention to detail, and have a confident and personable communication style and enjoy dealing with non-finance, operational stakeholders.
