Financial Controller (Contract)

Reporting to the CEO and as the key member of the Finance team, the Financial Controller will oversee financial, accounting and reporting activities. You will provide financial leadership, direction and advice to the CEO, Board of Directors and Executive management whilst leading and developing a great finance team. Also vital to this role, is your ability to work as part of a team and support other team members. Initially this position will be engaged on a short-term contract of 6 months with the potential to extend.

Responsibilities include but not limited to:

• Evaluate existing financial strategies
• Mange IT Portfolio including new program implementation
• Oversee Financial Management Reporting
• Budget & Cash flow forecasting
• P&L statements and Balance sheet preparation
• Maintenance of Assets register and Monitoring of budgets
• Management of Finance risk policy and procedures

• Required Skills & Experience:
• Min. 2 years experience in a senior finance role
• Formal qualifications relevant to the position (ACA/ACCA)
• Competency in MS Office suite including advanced level Excel
• Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
• Outstanding attention to detail and initiative to solve problems
• Effective organizational skills including time management
• A professional and flexible manner
