My client is a fast growing Asset management firm based in the City currently looking to recruit a Qualified Fund Accountant on a Temporary to Permanent basis. This role will report directly into the Head of Fund Accounting and Senior Fund Controller.

Role requirements:

• Preparing and reviewing quarterly and annual fund accounts prepared under UK and US GAAP
• Ensure that investment accounting records of the underlying SPVs are consistent with the Fund
• Treasury duties - oversight of liquidity including review of capital calls and distributions;
• Co-ordination year-end audit of the funds
• Point of contact for ad-hoc investor queries
• Maintaining relationships with internal and external stakeholders
• Liaising with external fund administrators and other outsourced service providers

Candidate requirements:

• Qualified ACA/CA/ACCA/CIMA Accountant
• Must have relevant/recent Fund Accounting experience
• Ideally have Asset management/Private Equity industry experience
