Job description

My client, a global Financial Services provider are looking for a Fund Administrator to join their rapidly expanding team. Successful candidates will have a strong willingness to learn, demonstrate enthusiasm and an interest within funds.

As a Fund Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • Payment processing duties including collating of payment documentation, requesting missing information, inputting of payment instructions, and electronic filing once processed
  • Assisting the team Manager and Director with the administration of the team's portfolio of clients
  • Learn about cash monitoring duties of Depositary Administrator for a varied portfolio of depositary clients in accordance with the firm's Policies, Procedures and Controls Manual, in order to provide coverage during times of holidays and absence
  • Ensuring World Check reviews are actioned when prompted by Compliance department in order to satisfy that there is no business risk
  • Processing of new client On Boarding documentation is completed in line with Compliance requirements (obtaining full KYC evidence from clients)
  • Ensure client file reviews are completed in line with stated group deadlines and where necessary take ownership and use initiative to liaise with Compliance Department
  • Gain an awareness of those clients where UK Funds provide Operator Services and ensure these are documented and kept up to date in line with regulatory requirements.
  • Ensure that client files are correctly maintained and all relevant correspondence and documentation is accurately and regularly filed
  • Ensure share certificates are correctly filed and recorded for safekeeping clients
  • Responsibility for ongoing and ad-hoc projects, including being nominated team member for Data Integrity project
  • Assist with cash flow monitoring for Depositary Services

As a Fund Administrator you will be responsible for:

  • 1 years' experience working in an administrative role.
  • Experience within a corporate services or fund administration environment would be beneficial, but not essential
  • Educated to degree level
  • Ability to work autonomously
  • Attention to detail and accuracy
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficient IT skills
