Based in West London, this fluent German Speaking Financial Accontant will report into the Group Financial Controller. They will have responsibility for supporting both Group reporting and forecasting, including financial reporting of new international retail businesses.

The Role:

• Supporting with month end production of the Group management accounts and the quarterly forecast submissions
• Support set-up of companies in new international markets.
• Support setting of budgets and financial planning for new Group entities.
• Ensuring all subsidiaries comply with Group accounting policies
• Writing accounting papers to support the Group accounting policies
• Support with the Group audit process and preparation of Group financial statements.
• Running the Purchase Ledger, Sales Ledger and Fixed Asset Register for the holding company, including some basic bookkeeping.

YOU will be:

• A newly qualified accountant (ACA, CIMA or ACCA) with at least 3 years professional experience
• Comfortable working in a rapidly changing environment and who is comfortable proposing, justifying, initiating and implementing change.
• Team player - good open communicator and collaborator - keeps colleagues up-to-date, shares and learns without prompting.
• Foreign language skills a plus ( French, German)
