An exciting opportunity is available for a Group Accountant with experience in the Fashion industry to join a leading global brand with over 700 outlets in over 50 countries. You will join the Group Finance Team based in London reporting to the Finance Controller and will be responsible for the following:

• Preparation of consolidated statutory accounts in line with agreed timelines
• Assist the Group Finance Manager in maintaining financial controls as well as other Group finance functions and ad hoc projects as required
• Production of accurate and relevant financial records for management decision making and control, including reconciliations and supporting analysis
• Assist with balance sheet reviews and preparation of monthly cash flow
• Proactive communication and engagement with operating business units
• Interact with internal and external stakeholders for areas of responsibility
• Intercompany reconciliations for Group companies
• Posting ad hoc bank entries and liaising with the bank to resolve queries in timely manner
• Coordinate Group Insurance annual renewal process

To be successful for the role:

• ACA / ACCA Qualified
• Strong technical knowledge of IFRS
• 2-3 years experience in Group Accounting with consolidation
• Ability to work on your own initiative
• Team player who is flexible in the approach to work
• Strong attention to detail
• Advanced working knowledge of Excel
• Experience within the Retail/Fashion industry (desirable)
