The opportunity for a Group Finance Analyst sits in a large well known brand in Central London. The team works together to deliver results. As people have progressed this role has become available, you will join to learn from others that used to do the role and are now more senior. You will need a combination of strong accounting skills and excellent communication to be successful in the position

Role Responsibilities

• Assisting in processing and delivering regular P&L performance reporting
• Assisting in current year forecasting
• Assist with investigating variances in results against expectations
• Completion of the month end process
• Consolidations and reporting
• Supporting the budgeting and forecast cycles
• Ad hoc analysis to support the business
• Analysis to senior management, including the CEO, for decision making.
• Working alongside the TM1 Developers to understand the business process, implement improvements, assess issues and develop solutions for the Finance team.

Required Skills

• Qualified Accountant (ACA/ACCA/CIMA)
• Practice or industry background, ideally media, FMCG, retail or similar. A well know brand is preferable.
• Commercially aware with strong accounting skills
• Strong report writing skills
• Communication skills to business partner
