Our client is a Consultancy business who are seeking a Regional Financial Controller for their core EMEA entities. This Regional Financial Controller will take ownership for all core accounting matters, shared service centre outputs and tax and statutory requirements for allocated countries within the region while working closely with colleagues and outsourced service providers to ensure the integrity and accuracy of reporting and controls for the group.

Location: London Bridge- 2/3 times per week.

The Role

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Regional Financial Controller for will play a critical role in leading a direct team of 3 to deliver robust monthly financial reporting, alongside, tax and compliance. Key responsibilities will include;

• Proactive management of the team and activities of the regional Finance shared service centre.
• Providing value added support to the businesses in the region
• Management of corporation tax and VAT of the regional entities.
• Deliver global finance operations synergies in line with the shared services proposal, whilst maintaining or improving Finance processes and reporting outputs.
• Reduction of the number regional legal entities
• Elimination of manual processes and automation with the introduction of scalable solutions that mitigate risk.
• Standardisation of processes and systems when and where possible.
• Provision of accounting support for new entity acquisition
• Oversight and support for statutory reporting requirements
• Manage audit process and liaise with other external advisors
• Participation in wider business or finance related projects

Your Profile

The successful Regional Financial Controller will be a qualified accountant and will ideally have at least 5 years post qualification experience.

You will need to be able to demonstrate a track record of transforming processes, automating and driving efficiency, ideally while working with outsourced/off shored finance support.
