The Role:

This newly created role of Group Financial Controller reports directly to the Global CFO and its responsibilities are multi-faceted and include;

• Lead process & control improvements across the finance function
• Identify opportunities for improvements in processes and procedures
• Establishment of month-end processes for the entity and reporting for the group
• Ensuring all Tax legislation and compliance matters are met
• Overall accountability for the statutory financial reports, including year-end financial statements and half-year reports. This will also involve managing the relationships with the auditors.

About you:

ACA/ACCA qualified, you will have begun your career within a chartered firm and have already made the transition into a Senior Group Finance Manager or Controller role where you are seeking your next challenge and career path to a CFO role.

You will have a demonstrated ability to operate effectively within a complex organisation and you will have the confidence to solve problems and drive positive outcomes across your teams. You will not only possess leadership capability, but you will be a strong communicator with the ability to influence a range of stakeholders both internally and externally. Listed experience in a complex environment is a must.
