My client, a Leading Media business based in the City of London are looking for a Group Financial Controller to join their head office team.

Reporting to the Finance Director, the Group Financial Controller will be responsible for:

• Production of accurate and timely monthly management accounts and year-end statutory accounts
• Preparation of year end audit pack and managing the year end audit
• Managing the AP (Accounts Payable) and AR (Accounts Receivable) teams
• Presenting to Directors and senior management
• Ensuring all financial policies and procedures are adhered to
• Working with external providers of legal, accounting, audit and other professional advice, especially to ensure the compliance and filing of Statutory Financial Statements to Companies House and corporate tax returns to HMRC
• Enhancing financial reporting, controls and procedures across the group
• Providing support on Company tax affairs including research and development
• Other ad hoc tasks as requested

You will be:

• ACA qualified with a minimum of 3 years post qualification experience
• Proven management accounting experience within a SME or PLC company
• Strong communication
• Proven experience as an Financial Controller
