A Challenger Bank who are currently go through a period of change require a Head of Finance to support numerous project objectives, manage a team and make sure targets are achieved to a high standard. You will manage three areas; FP&A, Financial Reporting and Treasury. This is a great opportunity to use your existing accounting knowledge as well as strong interpersonal skills to drive and motivate a finance team and manage and monitor a number of projects.

THE POSITION

This role will be based in the West End and will have a strong strategic and FP&A angle along with preparing the Group's annual statutory accounts to ensure compliance with accounting regulations.

The technical accounting responsibilities are supported by qualified accountants. The role also includes duties for the monthly board pack reporting performed by the FP&A team and the monthly regulatory reporting and monitoring of regulatory capital of the group, supported by the regulatory accountant. You will further require the ability to manage and monitor a number of projects concurrently.

EXPERIENCE REQUIRED
Your experience must be from a Bank either Retail or Investment and you are likely to come from an ACA audit background followed by a position managing staff in Financial Services. A hands on approach is essential as well as the ability to business partner with senior people in the organisation. You will also have a high degree of initiative and work both autonomously and in a team environment.
