As the Head of European Tax your remit covers a broad spectrum of tasks. This is a largely autonomous role with no direct reports, it covers high level tax matters and variety. You will also provide support for the US and the global group too.

Responsibilities include:

• Tax compliance
• Tax provisioning
• Tax audit management
• Tax advisory.
• Compliance, when necessary, for indirect tax
• Local/ regional transfer pricing
• Business partnering with finance regarding tax related accounts.
• Projects, including structured and cross border transactions
• Monitoring tax-related legislative/regulatory developments and advise on Europe and America tax risks.

A key component of your role is that you will provide support and partner to a senior level with the Global Head of Tax and the European CFO. You will also deliver clear strategic and commercial solutions and add value in assisting the relevant businesses to achieve their targets for profitability and growth.

Experience Required
To be successful you will have years of broad tax experience which includes international/foreign tax matters. You will also have:

• Relevant professional qualification - ACA and/or CTA or equivalent
• Sound analytical skills with ability to understand, interpret and articulate business operating principles, key drivers of business value, and operating levers
• European tax and ideally US tax knowledge
