Job description
Our client, within the Financial Services sector, are seeking a HR Advisor to join their busy, vibrant and motivated team. As HR Advisor you will be responsible for the welfare of all employees whilst proving a HR Advisory service to all managers.
The ideal candidate is an experienced HR Professional working within Professional Services in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities
- Promote and develop HR policies and procedures
- Key point of contact for all employee relations cases
- Provide advice and facilitate meetings with regards to performance management and development
- Advising managers of recruitment selection and selection strategies
- Ensure comprehensive HR records are maintained in accordance with company policy and legal requirements
- Assist with employee benefits provision, liaising with third party suppliers, managing annual contractual arrangements and internal process accordingly
- Assist with yearly salary and bonus review processes as required
- Assist with annual company appraisal process, ensuring all departments are adhering to the procedure.
- Monitor key business metrics including turnover and retention rates
- Driving Diversity and Inclusion initiatives within the employment lifecycle and work with the business to raise awareness and best practice.
Skills & Experience
- Must be experienced working at HR Advisor at a generalist level
- Passionate about driving Diversity and Inclusion initiatives
- Experience of being able to analyse and monitor data
- Experience of owning the full employee lifecycle
- Experience of handling ER cases
- Good understanding of UK employment law and legislation
- Ability to design clear and fair company policies
- Hands on experience with HR systems
- Practical and logical; able to solve problems quickly
