Job description

Our client, within the healthcare sector, are looking for a Senior HR Advisor to join their London based team. Reporting to the Head of HR, this role will cover both strategic and operational generalist elements.

The HR Advisor role is a highly visible, business-focused, operational HR role, delivering HR services to underpin our client's company objectives.

Responsibilities:

* Professionally and promptly deal with all employee relations issues, providing commercially

sound advice to management regarding their resolution, whilst showing empathy and

professionally dealing with the employee in all issues, including disciplinary, grievances, flexible

working requests, TUPE, redundancy situations and other employee issues as they arise.

* Undertake analysis and interpret trends of workforce information to support monthly performance

review processes in order to ensure managers are provided with appropriate information.

* Ensure that management teams use benchmarked workforce information to inform their decision making processes.

* Propose and support initiatives to ensure the teams meet and improve targets for key workforce

performance indicators, for example sickness absence, turnover, agency usage, appraisals.

* Promoting and advising on best practice, ensuring compliance with all employment policies.

* Supporting managers with the effective monitoring and management of employee absence,

including holiday, sickness and maternity leave.

* Assisting in the continued professional development of the HR Administration team.

* General HR Administration duties.

* Other duties as assigned by the Head of HR or HR Director.

Skills & Experience:

  • Proven experience as a HR Advisor
  • Ability to work autonomously & within a team
  • Previous Employee Relations & caseload management experience
  • Attention to detail
  • Driven and keen to learn
