Job description

Global Insurance business based in Central London are seeking an experienced PMO to join their finance transformation and technology programme. This is designed to automate and increase control over some key Finance processes, for example cash management and UK VAT

To assist in the programme we are recruiting for a Finance PMO, you will ideally have strong experience in a PMO role and knowledge of finance. You will support the team through the following:

  • Central owner of Programme Financials: working closely with finance teams
  • Investment Roadmap
  • Accountable for reviewing weekly status reports
  • Own Programme Level Plan and Org Chart
  • PMO Support to projects with no dedicated PMO
  • Ensure all projects are in Planview
  • Calendar Management
  • Weekly reviews with Project Managers and dedicated PMO to review work-stream progress and approval of Weekly Status Reports.
  • Assisting with the preparation of the Monthly Steering Committee deck and minutes, including review with Project Sponsor.
  • Design and maintenance of overall Programme site and Programme Templates.

Skills and Experience

You will have significant experience in a PMO or Project Management environment for an Insurance company. You will only be considered if you have worked in Insurance. You must be able to effectively cope with change, you need to shift gears comfortably and can decide and act without having the total picture. Things do not always finish before moving on, you can comfortably handle risk and uncertainty. You will be widely trusted and seen as a direct and truthful person.
