My Client a very well established, private investment firm based in the City, are looking for an Analyst to join their investment team. Primarily focusing on REIT deals, single asset and portfolios. Successful candidates will be highly numerical with strong academics, enthusiastic, 1-2 years' experience within a similar position and a passion for real estate.

As an investment analyst you will be responsible for:

• Analysis of incoming Real Estate Investment Trust deals (both single assets and portfolios) including quantitative and qualitative research.
• Transaction support in relation to executing deals.

• Quantitative and qualitative appraisal of deals to establish whether the deals are worth pursuing.
• Financial analysis.
• Structuring of transactions to establish the best method to make the deal work.
• Reviewing and assisting in the negotiation of legal documentation.
• Liaising with internal and external advisers and intermediaries.
• Relationship management to ensure deals get done.
• Preparation of internal investment papers and deal appraisals.

As an Investment Analyst you will be need:

• High quality degree.
• 1-2 years of experience in financial services, real estate and/or care.
• Highly numerate with strong academics.
• Proactive and highly motivated.
• Precision and attention to detail.
• Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to deal with people at all levels.

• MS Office packages: Excel (advanced knowledge), Outlook, Word and PowerPoint.
• Knowledge of corporate finance transaction databases and credit evaluation databases would be an advantage.
